IMPORTANT NOTICE: Closure for Public Worship: We have taken the difficult decision to close St Mary's for public worship and private Prayer during the current government lockdown. Everyone's safety is our utmost concern and we will keep you informed to as and when we can resume worship. In the meantime stay safe.
We meet every Sunday for traditional worship.
Holy Communion - 8am
This is a quiet reflective service, with no hymns.
Parish Communion - 10am
A traditional Communion service with hymns.
Families - We welcome families and children of all ages to join worship and learn about God. It is our aim to show children that they are loved and accepted by God and help them to understand what it means to be a Christian. During the opening hymn the children leave for their own activities and return again in time for Communion. On the first Sunday we have creative communion.
Creche - a creche area is available in the Octagon. This is available for any child under 3 at anytime during the service.
Communion - All Christians who have been baptised are invited to join with us in receiving Communion. If you do not wish to receive the bread and wine, you are welcome to come forward for a blessing.
Personal Prayer - If you could like special prayer, please speak to our clergy or churchwardens at the end of the service.
Evening service - 6.30pm
A quiet reflective service following Common Worship Evening Prayer.
