Bible Study Group

The Wednesday Bible Study group will meet again on Wednesday 4th December at 10.45am. All welcome.

Coffee Club

Coffee Club will meet again on Wed 27th November.Price£1.Tea or Coffee. All welcome.

Friendship Club

Meet in the church centre twice monthly. (on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month).They meet from 10-12 noon and all are welcome. They next meet on Thursday 28th November 2019.

St Mary’s Luncheon Club

Do come along to St Mary’s Luncheon Club at 12 noon. For £4 you will receive an excellent meal. The next meal will be on Thurs 28th November. All welcome. Please let Malcolm know.

Christmas Meal

Our Friendship Group will be holding their Christmas Meal on Thursday 5th December (a week earlier than usual because of the election).If you would like to join them for a three course Christmas meal please speak to Malcolm. The cost for non club members will be £8.

Chocolate Tombola

Thanks to all who contributed to the Chocolate Tombola organised by Matt White at his office for Children in Need. They raised £245.

Quiz Night

We will be holding a Quiz Night on Friday 6th December. 7pm Sharp to start.£1.50 per person. Bring your own drinks. Pop the date in your diaries. These evenings are always enjoyable, so why not come along and join in the fun. All welcome.

Mentoring Young People

If you would be interested in mentoring young people to help make positive life choices by receiving training on topics including Safeguarding and gangs and youth violence, please see the notice in the Church Centre and apply to the positive youth foundation who are seeking to help young people in positive ways. Training will be given (8 hours in total).

Toy Service

Next week we shall have our Toy Service, which is an opportunity to donate new toys (unwrapped) to children who will receive little at Christmas. You can also bring basic toiletries for adults who struggle particularly at Christmas. Our donations will go to Coventry City Mission for their Christmas Appeal.

Christmas Card

Next week we shall begin our annual Christmas Card. For a minimum donation of £2 you can add a message in our Christmas Card available on 23rd December. The point of the card is two fold; firstly to raise money for a local charity (to be decided next week) and secondly to save people from sending numerous cards to fellow parishioners.

Christmas Hamper

We shall also be selling raffle tickets for a Christmas Hamper from next week but would be grateful of Christmassy donations in the meantime. A list of suggested items will be available soon, but use your imagination for appropriate items in the mean time!

Christmas Day Dinner

Walsgrave Baptist Church will again be organising a free Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day at 1pm for anyone who would like to go.Booking at info@wbchurch.co.uk or on 7661 2565 is essential though.
