It was announced recently that Claire is to be the next Rector at Stoke St Michael. However sad we may feel at Claire’s departure we are enormously happy for her and grateful for all that she has given to us over the past three years. Her last Sunday with us will be 23rd June and her Induction at Stoke on 8th July at 7.30pm.It would be good to have a large contingent from St Mary’s there to show both our support and appreciation for her ministry to us.
The Coffee Club will meet again on Wednesday 15th May.Price£1.Tea or Coffee. All welcome. Come along and you might even get cake from time to time!
Meet in the church centre twice monthly. (on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month).They meet from 10-12 noon and all are welcome. Please Note: Due to the European Elections, the group won’t meet on Thursday 23rd May. They will resume on Thursday 13th June 2019.
St Mary’s Luncheon Club
Do come along to St Mary’s Luncheon Club at 12 noon. For £4 you will receive an excellent meal. The next meal will be on Thurs 13th June.(No Luncheon Club on 23rd May due to voting).All welcome. Please let Claire or Malcolm know.
Readers & Intercessors
It is always good to welcome new readers & intercessors to our list but this time we need a new person to organise the rota as Janet Home wishes to stand down. The rota comes out 4 times a year and help can be provided for new volunteers. Please speak to Malcolm or Barbara Hancox if you feel able to help.
