It is an involvement every 6 to 8 weeks greeting the congregation as they arrive, handing out the service books and putting them away after the service. Taking the collection can also form part of the role if you wish. If you think that you might be able to help, please have a word with Alison Liggins, Barbara Hancox, Malcolm.

We are blessed to have so many children here at Walsgrave, this however means that we need more hands on deck on a Sunday morning, so it is not the same people each week. Could you please pray for our children’s work and discern whether this is something that you could help with. If yes could you talk to Malcolm or Claire after the service.
After many years acting as our Stewardship recorder and money counter, Jean Hudson, has decided to stand down after April. If anyone has the time and interest to take on this role could you please speak to Malcolm or Mervyn Hancox.
New Year’s Resolution
After my visit to a church in a neighbouring deanery last Sunday I have decided to make a New Year’s resolution, albeit somewhat late in the day. I found myself intensely irritated by people chattering during the reception of communion. When I commented upon this to my wife she told me I often comment to the person sitting next to me during the service, if not in the communion, so my resolution is to stop this. Please remind me if you see me do it!
Thank you to all those who made suggestions for charitable donations. We have received nine in all. Standing Committee will look at those in some detail and make a decision on what to recommend to PCC. The results will be published in the newsletter later on.
Annual Parochial Church Meetings
This year our Annual Parochial Church Meetings will be held on 7th April. This year is a complete revision of the electoral roll which means that a completely new roll is prepared so that everyone has to join again. More details will be published in due course but the revision will take place in mid February - mid March. Would those who normally write reports for the APCM please start to think about them now and send them in to the office.
