Welcome Rota

We are looking for new members to join our team, which has lost a few members recently. It is an involvement every 6 to 8 weeks greeting the congregation as they arrive, handing out the service books and putting them away after the service. Taking the collection can also form part of the role if you wish. If you think that you might be able to help, please have a word with Alison Liggins, Barbara Hancox, Malcolm.

Church of England Children’s Society Boxes

Once again it is time to empty the Children's Society Church of England Boxes. I would be most grateful if people could bring their boxes to church or to 4 Hall Lane. Thanking You. Audrey Curtis

Bible Study Group

The Wednesday Bible Study Group meets next on 5th December at 10.45am.

Friday Prayer Group

Our Friday Prayer Group continues to meet. It meets alternate weeks and the next one is 30th November. It meets in Church from 10.30-11.30am, plus coffee time. All welcome. Please see Tony Thistlewood for more information. NB: Slight time change.

Coffee Club

The Coffee Club meets next on Wednesday 28th November .Price£1.Tea or Coffee. All welcome.

Friendship Club

Meet in the church centre twice monthly. (on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month).They meet from 10-12 noon and all are welcome. They next meet on Thursday 13th December.

St Mary’s Luncheon Club

Do come along to St Mary’s Luncheon Club at 12 noon. For £4 you will receive an excellent meal. The next meal will be on Thursday 13th December which will be our Christmas Dinner to which all are invited. However, the price for this will be £7.50.Please let Claire or Malcolm know if you wish to attend.

Junior Church

We are blessed to have so many children here at Walsgrave, this however means that we need more hands on deck on a Sunday morning, so it is not the same people each week. Could you please pray for our children’s work and discern whether this is something that you could help with. If yes could you talk to Malcolm or Claire after the service.

Coventry City Mission - Help needed

Coventry City Mission are asking for volunteers to help wrap Christmas presents collected through their Giving Tree Project. If you can help during the week 3rd-7th December please contact City Mission on 024 7661 5931.St Mary’s will be supporting this at their Toy Service on 2nd December.

Christmas Card

We shall start to take messages for our Annual Christmas card next week. PCC have decided to support the local charity ‘Carriers of Hope’ this year. Please remember our Annual Toy Service next Sunday. We shall be collecting new toys for the Coventry City Mission Appeal. Please do not wrap any toys you bring. They will be wrapped at the Mission, see above.

Christmas Hamper

We would like to organise a Christmas Hamper again this year. Please could you bring in something appropriate to a Hamper (see list in the Centre for suggestions).We will start to sell raffle tickets this week.

Charity Donations

PCC have budgeted to make donations of £2,500 this year from giving and would be grateful to receive nominations for charities they might support from you. We shall probably make 5 donations of £500 each. Please speak to Malcolm or Churchwardens with your suggestions.

Sleeping Bag

Sleeping Bag available to a good home. No cost. See Malcom if interested.
