Bible Study Group
The Wednesday Bible Study Group meets next on 21st November at 10.45am.
Friday Prayer Group
Our Friday Prayer Group continues to meet. It meets alternate weeks and the next one is 16th November. It meets in Church from 10-11am, plus coffee time. All welcome. Please see Tony Thistlewood for more information.
The Coffee Club meets next on Wednesday 14th November .Price£1.Tea or Coffee. All welcome.
Meet in the church centre twice monthly. (on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month).They meet from 10-12 noon and all are welcome. They next meet on Thursday 22nd November.
St Mary’s Luncheon Club
Do come along to St Mary’s Luncheon Club at 12 noon. For £4 you will receive an excellent meal. The next meal will be on Thursday 22ndNovember.
We are blessed to have so many children here at Walsgrave, this however means that we need more hands on deck on a Sunday morning, so it is not the same people each week. Could you please pray for our children’s work and discern whether this is something that you could help with. If yes could you talk to Malcolm or Claire after the service.
Coventry City Mission - Help needed
Coventry City Mission are asking for volunteers to help wrap Christmas presents collected through their Giving Tree Project. If you can help during the week 3rd-7th December please contact City Mission on 024 7661 5931.St Mary’s will be supporting this at their Toy Service on 2nd December.
We shall start to take messages for our Annual Christmas card in the next few weeks. PCC will decide this week on the Charity we shall support. Also please remember our Annual Toy Service on December 2nd.We shall be collecting new toys for the Coventry City Mission Appeal. Please do not wrap any toys you bring. They will be wrapped at the Mission, see above.

We shall be starting a confirmation group for young people this afternoon in Church at 5.30pm.The intention is that the young people will be confirmed at a service at Coventry Cathedral on Saturday 24th November starting at 4pm, though the preparation classes will carry on after the Confirmation itself. Children need to be either at secondary school already or about to start in September 2019.
We would like to organise a Christmas Hamper again this year. Please could you bring in something appropriate to a Hamper (see list in the Centre for suggestions).We will start to sell raffle tickets next week.
