Bereavement Service

On November 4th at our 10am service we shall remember those for whom funerals have been held here or by members of St Mary’s clergy over the past year. If you would like the name of someone to be added to this list please speak to Malcolm.

Bible Study Group

The Wednesday Bible Study Group meets next on 24th October at 10.45am.

Friday Prayer Group

Our Friday Prayer Group has started again. It meets alternate weeks and the next one is 19th October. It meets in Church from 10-11am, plus coffee time.All welcome.Please see Tony Thistlewood for more information.

Coffee Club

The Coffee Club meets next on Wednesday 17th October.Price£1.Tea or Coffee. All welcome.

Friendship Club

Meet in the church centre twice monthly. (on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month).They meet from 10-12 noon and all are welcome. They next meet on Thursday 11th October.

St Mary’s Luncheon Club

Do come along to St Mary’s Luncheon Club at 12 noon. For £4 you will receive an excellent meal. The next meal will be on Thursday 25th October.

Junior Church

We are blessed to have so many children here at Walsgrave, this however means that we need more hands on deck on a Sunday morning, so it is not the same people each week. Could you please pray for our children’s work and discern whether this is something that you could help with. If yes could you talk to Malcolm or Claire after the service.

Christmas Hamper

As we did last year we would like to create a Christmas hamper for a raffle prize at the Autumn Fayre. If any of you are able to donate please sign up on the notice sheet. If goods could be brought in the week before the Fayre. Thank you.

Autumn Fayre

We shall be holding our Autumn Fayre on Saturday 20th October. Please put the date in your diary and start to look out for things we might sell.

In the meantime however we have printed Raffle Tickets and would be grateful if people could take 5 or 10 books to sell amongst their friends, families and colleagues. Please bring in any items for the Fayre including Bottles, chocolates, toiletries, books, bric a brac etc. Church is open Monday-Thursday 9.30am - 12.30pm.If you can help with a stall please see Jean Hudson.

Car Parking

Just a reminder that the car parking passes that we used to issue for the Red Lion are NO LONGER VALID! You may still park in the Red Lion for free on Sunday mornings but you will need to pop into the bar to enter your car number plate into their machine.

Do not purchase a ticket beforehand as the money cannot be refunded but tell the staff you have been at church and they will allow you to enter the registration number.If you should get a ticket, bring it into church to Malcolm and it will be cancelled.

Coventry City Mission - Help needed

Coventry City Mission are asking for volunteers to help wrap Christmas presents collected through their Giving Tree Project.If you can help during the week 3rd-7th December please contact City Mission on 024 7661 5931.St Mary’s will be supporting this at their Toy Service on 2nd December.
