Coffee Club
The Coffee Club meets next on Wednesday 21st February.Price£1.Tea or Coffee. All welcome.
St Mary’s Luncheon Club
Do come along to St Mary’s Luncheon Club at 12 noon. For £4 you will an excellent meal. The next meal will be on Thursday February 22nd.
Friendship Club
Meet in the church centre twice monthly. (on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month).They meet from 10-12 noon and all are welcome. They next meet on Thursday 22nd February.
Holiday Club
We are jointly hosting a holiday club with the Baptist Church during half term, 20th-23rd February. The theme is Pirates made new. It is aimed at the 7-11 age range and we have around 30 places. We need your help. We are looking for volunteers to help run the club and for the following resources:
Shoeboxes Shells Canes (for small flags)
Yoghurt pots Newspaper Pringles (or other crisp tube)
Fake Jewels Small clear plastic tub like an individual trifle pot.

Summer Fete
Kevin Foxon is acting as our representative liaising with the Baptist Church about the Summer Fete at Walsgrave School on 16th June. We need to provide some helpers for some games and activities stalls. If you could devote a little time to this, please have a word with Kevin. Perhaps you have a talent for face painting or similar. If you have links into any other groups that might be asked to perform (eg. Music bands) again please speak to Kevin with details.
Lent
Lent begins next Wednesday (Ash Wednesday).Services will be held at 10am & 7.30 pm. During Lent we would encourage you to follow the Let your Light Shine booklet which are available today. These have cost us £2.50 each so any donations towards the cost would be appreciated. On Wednesday morning we shall be following the course associated with this which can be downloaded from the Church of England website. (Google Church of England, let your light shine and follow the links).An evening course will be either on Tuesday or Wednesday evening.Tuesday has more votes at the moment but only by 1.Please sign up if you want to come.
Preparations for Annual Parochial Church Meetings
This year our Annual Parochial Church Meetings will be held on Sunday April 29th after our 10am.This is the opportunity both to elect churchwardens and PCC members but also to hold PCC to account. Given that the date is at the end of April we do have a little more time than usual so if you normally prepare a report for the meeting, please could this be into the office by Easter Day. The electoral roll (our membership roll) will be updated in March. More details will follow shortly.
New Archdeacon
Our new Archdeacon Pastor, Sue Field, will be installed at a service at Coventry Cathedral on Sunday 18th March at 4 pm. You are welcome to attend.
