Members of the congregation who have a hearing aid with a ‘T’ switch will find that they can hear better when it is switched to ‘T’.
Coffee Morning
John and Pennie will be holding a coffee morning at their home, 70 Leicester
Road, Bedworth on Saturday 1st September at 10.30 am. All welcome.
David Robinson
We said ‘au revoir’ to David Robinson a few weeks ago. We
wish him and his wife Diana well in their new work at St Mary Magdalen
Hearsall Lane. David is to be licensed on 10th September at 7.30 pm and
you are very welcome to attend.
Salvation Army Concert
The Coventry City Salvation Army Band will be playing at St Mary’s
on Saturday 22nd September 2007 at 7 pm. Tickets £4, obtainable
from the Vicar, Churchwardens or at the door on the evening of the concert.
Please come and join an evening of good music and fellowship, whilst raising
much needed funds for the St Mary’s Refurbishment Fund and the work

Pennie Hartopp
Pennie’s final Sunday (16th September) is approaching fast. Please
could you make sure Barbara knows if you are coming to the meal after
the service so that numbers may be finalised. We are obtaining more precise
timings for a coach to take us to the licensing service at St Mark’s
Godalming on Thursday 18th October and those details will be available
soon. Please, again make sure we know if you want a seat on the coach.
Coffee Club
The Coffee Club meets next on Wednesday 5th and 19th September at 10.45

Warwickshire Farm Praise and Food Fayre
Make the 22nd September a diary date for your taste buds. Warwickshire’s
finest farm and food producers gathering under one roof to tempt you with
their mouth watering samples of great food and drink. The finale is the
harvest festival with music and a service of farm praise. Please join
us at Kingston Farm, Harbury from 10.30 am onwards, with the service at

Advance Notice - Harvest
Our Harvest this year will be a week earlier than usual on Sunday 30th
September. We will be collecting tins etc as normal.
Working as a Lay Visitor in Hospital
Are you interested in the role of being a Lay Visitor at either Walsgrave
or St Cross hospitals? Both Hospitals are recruiting members to join their
Hospital Lay teams. Lay Visitors support the Chaplaincy team. It is a
also a very responsible role, bringing you into close contact with people
at very vulnerable times in their lives.
Training is given but in the first instance you need to speak to Malcolm
if you are interested or require more information as names have to be
recommended through him.
